Celebrating Black Stories was a Sports Emmy-nominated project that consisted of four animated vignettes, highlighting the little-known contributions of Black athletes. These vignettes were conceptualized, written and produced by Black employees.

Lock In: A Litefeet Story

Lock In: A Litefeet Story is an in-depth history of the New York City hip-hop dance style that exploded out of Harlem in the early 2000s. These dances immediately went mainstream with Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs and Eve casting dancers from Harlem in their music videos, as well as Chris Brown adopting these styles into his performances. The Litefeet movement was then reinvented underground both in the subway and in dance studios, growing into a movement that is now worldwide.

Super Bowl LV Social Media Takeover

In the days leading up to Super Bowl LV, three Black employees were allowed to takeover the CBS Sports' social media pages to promote the game -- creating 12 pieces of original content that amassed a seven-figure view count with millions of impressions.

HBCU ALL-STAR EXPERIENCE

The HBCU All-Star Experience aired during the pregame show for the inaugural HBCU All-Star Game. The feature follows, documents and recaps the very special experience of the HBCU All-Stars over the course of three days

BIG HOUSE, THE PEARL, & THE TRIUMPH OF WINSTON-SALEM STATE

In a time of intense racial turmoil, a star from Philadelphia descended upon Winston-Salem State. Earl “The Pearl” Monroe was so spectacular that the Rams had to move from their tiny campus gym to the Winston-Salem Memorial Coliseum so thousands more fans could see him play -- easing racial tension in a segregated city and leading WSSU to a become the first HBCU to win a NCAA championship in any sport.

JACKSONVILLE U CAN DO! 

The one-hour documentary chronicles Jacksonville University’s memorable 1970 NCAA Tournament run led by All-American Artis Gilmore and Head Coach Joe Williams, The story highlights the program’s integration in 1968 and explores how the Dolphins’ success helped unite a city that was still dealing with racial unrest and trying to break free from its segregated past.

STORIES WE'VE TOLD: VOICES OF CHANGE

This half-hour show combines some of the most heartfelt features shot over a number of years, showcasing how athletes are at the forefront of social change.
